  • Remember your password and never share it with the others or write it anywhere.
  • Do not disclose your password to anyone even to The General Authority of Zakat and Tax's staff.
  • Do not choose an easy-to-guess password like your date of birth or your phone number.
  • Change your password frequently to ensure that it cannot be guessed or used by others.
  • Be sure others are not watching you entering information on the keyboard when using the system especially when you login to the system.
  • Never leave your computer unattended, while logged in to GAZT System. Others may approach your computer and gain access to your account information if you walk away.
  • Click logout when you are finished using the system to properly end your session. Once a session has been ended, no further transactions can be processed until you login to the system again.
  • Before accessing GAZT website, please make sure you have HTTPS and a lock sign.
  • Always access GAZT website by typing the address into your web browser not by searching its link through the search engines.
  • Never access GAZT site from a link in email messages or websites, and you could always relay on the electronic address (URL/e-mails) printed in the GAZT's publications.
  • Always be cautious and not respond to any unsolicited emails or phone calls asking you to disclose any personal details or card numbers.
  • Be cautious of SPAM messages and phishing sites, never respond to requests for personal information or password through phone, email or websites, and always make sure you are browsing The General Authority of Zakat and Tax official website.​
  • ​To safeguard your devices and Information
  • Make sure to use a genuine copy of the operating system (for example, Windows) on your computer.
  • Install system updates regularly, especially security updates.
  • ​Always keep an updated version of antivirus software to protect your information.
  • Activate the firewall program with the operating system.
  • We recommend that you do not install untrusted software or unnecessary software.
  • Use your own device when accessing the Authority's services online and do not use shared devices such as those used in Internet cafes, especially when outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Be wary of mobile apps that can steal your personal information from your phone and disable your SMS.

  • All information exchanged during your visit to the General Authority of Zakat and Tax website is protected and encrypted using the Secure Sockets Layer Protocol (SSL).
  • A multi-factor authentication system is implemented to increase the security level of taxpayers when using the Authority's electronic channels.
  • Access to taxpa​yers' data is limited to authorized personnel with specific operational reasons.
  • The General Authority for Zakat and Tax follows security controls to protect your files and information from loss, destruction and misrepresentation.
  • We do not provide any third party with your information except in accordance with the regulations and laws in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.​
