In 2019, the General Authority of Zakat and Tax inaugurated the Zakat and Tax Academy, as a testimony to its belief that GAZT's human capital remains a pivotal driver towards achieving its strategic goals. An exemplary model to the world in managing Zakat and taxes effectively and transparently, making customers at the heart of its strategy.


  1. Staff:

The Zakat and Tax Academy is directly overseen by His Excellency, the Governor of the Zakat and Tax Authority, Engineer / Suhail bin Muhammad Abanmi, and the executive management of GAZT. The human capital team, represented by the Talent Development Department, undertakes general supervision of the Academy to ensure the quality of the development and implementation of services and programs provided in cooperation with relevant departments and authorities.
